Car News briefs: Mazda recalling 2001-02 Miatas; redesigned Hyundai Accent starts at $12,995

Mazda North American Operations is recalling 2001-02 Miatas to fix their emissions control systems. About 32,000 cars are affected, the EPA says. While performing a routine compliance test, the EPA discovered that the cars exceed emissions standards.
